Hello Wildcats!

I hope you are enjoying the summer. Please remember to check this website frequently and click through the links to check if any new postings have been sent out. The schedules will be updated as new information becomes available. In addition, you should check out your section website, the audio/visual information, and all other marching band details. The parent portion of the site is "band aides." This part of the site lists ways to get involved and help the band.

Hopefully you will be getting together with your section to practice stand tunes, make new friends, and get ready for band camp. Have a great summer. 46 days to Band Camp! Yippee!!!

The Football Team, Band, and Cheer are teaming together for the football concession stand this year. The band will need to provide two volunteer workers for each home football game (Frosh, JV, and Varsity levels). In exchange for our band workers, the concession stand will share the profits with the band club. This is going to be a great partnership between the PTO, Football Team, Cheer, and the Wildcat Marching Band.

What does this mean for us?
- We need TWO people per home game - one adult and one band student OR two adults (Friday games).
- Parents who volunteer on Friday nights will be given a break at half time to watch the band perform.
- The Band Club will have greater fundraising support by working with concessions!
Freshman Games - Wednesday Nights - Be in the concession stand by 5:15 PM.
JV Games - Thursday Nights - Be in the concession stand by 5:15 PM.
Varsity Games - Friday Nights - Be in the concession stand by 6:15 PM.
***To get in the gate, please politely tell the ticket takers you are working concessions. You will get in for free.***

The band is collecting donations for the festival and football season. The band typically uses eight cases of water bottles per event. If you are willing to donate water bottles, please feel free to bring the water to the band room or send it to school with your band member. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Please review the Uniform section of the BAND HANDBOOK. It is very important that all students and parents understand the policies and procedures for uniforms as we use them throughout the season for events, photographs, and performances.
