Keep practicing and we will announce a new audition date after concert band has started in January.

Remember to practice your 12 major scales and the first regional etude for finals! :)

Auditions for the Spring Percussion Ensemble and Concert Band positions will be held Wednesday, December 3, at 5:00 PM. Please be ready in the band room before 5:00 PM. All students must bring Marching Sticks (Vic Firth Ralph Hardimon with wood tips), Concert Sticks (2B), and Yarn Mallets. Please be sure to bring your audition music with you.

Auditions will be adjudicated by Miss Trent and Ryan.

It really surprise me that we already finished 5 songs down in 2 days!!!! =)

Everyone needs to take lessons this summer from Joe Perez. He is an amazing percussion teacher who worked with the pit at AZLC. He has a marimba at his house, and you can get lessons from $20 a week for a half hour. Great price! You can email him at [email protected] If you take lessons, please let me know.
